Alcine alcalá de henares film festival

These dramatized visits are framed in the Festival of National Tourist Interest Don Juan in Alcalá. Mocking the Myth takes a tour of the historic center of Alcalá de Henares through the mythical figure of Don Juan, focusing on the plays Don Juan Tenorio by José Zorrilla and El Burlador de Sevilla by Tirso de Molina.

The version inverts the perspective of the classic donjuanes, giving voice to the women protagonists of both plays. Passion, desire, lies, love, guilt and madness will burn the protagonist in his struggle for salvation.

The concerts of the wall 2021

This exhibition presents a series of photographs of actors portrayed by photographer Óscar Fernández Orengo, and represents his second approach to the world of cinema after a first incursion with a series of portraits of directors, a project that is also touring the network of the Cervantes Institute. With ‘La escena cotidiana’, the photographer captures a series of moments of the actor’s intimacy, where the person or the character plays with a reality that they have preferred to show in each session, the fictitious or the real, giving the viewer a suggestive result.

Beginning of the most ambitious and personal project of Óscar Fernández Orengo, who gathered the first forty-nine portraits of this work in progress. In them, he reveals the appearance -and also the soul- of very different filmmakers of our recent cinematography. The panoramic format -uncommon in portraiture and almost always relegated to landscape photography-, a very personal look at the filmmaker and the cinema, the use of non-digital techniques, and black and white, give this exhibition its own personality. The exhibition, first seen at ALCINE in 2007, has traveled around the world thanks to the Cervantes Institute, co-producer of the show with ALCINE.

Dream alcalá

Starting next October, the municipal service of guided tours of the City Council of Alcalá de Henares will launch a series of thematic guided tours that complement the tourist and cultural offer of the city.

One of the moments where the light brings great prominence to the photographs is the «golden hour», whose warm and soft light creates a captivating atmosphere. This magical moment is followed by the «blue hour», that moment just after sunset when the sky has practically lost those orange and yellow tones and an intense blue begins to predominate. A different experience that allows us to know the history of the city through wonderful images and where visitors can take wonderful pictures from different angles and points of the city.

Theater in madrid

In a post-apocalyptic landfill, where there is a small pool of water, four individuals relearn to communicate with each other, reusing the different objects they find in that immense dump, which remind us of a past civilization, ours.

As in the beginning of our civilization, the most ancestral and primitive instruments were percussion instruments, in the same way, our survivors will use percussion to communicate, recycling with ingenuity a new unknown and surprising sound world, and where humor becomes the best weapon to recreate bonds such as friendship, compassion and perhaps, a better world.
